ABU DHABI: Etihad Airways is celebrating India’s Independence Day with a major seat sale, offering passengers booking from India up to 30 percent off fares to destinations in the United States and Europe.

The offer runs until 15 August 2025, with the travel window open from September 2025 to March 2026.

Etihad offer for Indian travellers

The UAE’s flag carrier, operating from its hub at Zayed International Airport, has listed economy fares starting at Dh3,273 to Chicago, Dh3,599 to Toronto, and Dh3,149 to Washington DC. European options include Dh2,036 to Barcelona and Dh2,149 to Dublin, among others.

Travellers can also secure discounted seats to Brussels, Prague, Warsaw, Sochi, New York, Rome, Atlanta, Madrid, Boston, Paris, Munich, and Frankfurt. The promotion applies to both economy and business class, following on from Etihad’s earlier summer sale of up to 25 per cent off across its network.

How to book?

Tickets can be purchased via Etihad’s website or app. The airline advises booking promptly to secure the lowest fares before the deadline.

The sale coincides with other competitive summer fare offers from UAE, regional, and Indian carriers as the 2025 peak season draws to a close.

What’s new at Etihad?

Last week, the airline operated its first commercial flight of the Airbus A321LR, flying from Abu Dhabi to Phuket. The narrow-body aircraft offers premium cabin standards on short and medium-haul routes, matching the service level of Etihad’s award-winning widebody fleet.
